However, moderate air quality conditions were observed in some eastern and northern regions of the country. Parts of Gauteng and Mpumalanga also recorded unhealthy air quality levels for sensitive groups, indicating a potential health risk to vulnerable populations. The portal provides access to air quality data, pollutant concentrations, and trends across South Africa.
