DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThe second National Space Conference (NSC) will take place at the CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria, South Africa from 28 – 30 August 2024, with the theme “Space Science and Innovation for Sustainability”.\n\n\n\n\nThe conference is organised by the National Earth Observations and Space Secretariat (NEOSS ( https://neoss.co.za/ )) and the South African National Space Agency (SANSA ( https://www.sansa.org.za/ )), an initiative and entity of the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI ( https://www.dst.gov.za/ )), in collaboration with key national partners such as the South African Air Force (SAAF ( http://www.af.mil.za/Pages/Home.aspx )).\nThe NSC also gives SA stakeholders (such as researchers, academics, public servants, business, data suppliers, consultants, and NGOs) a forum and opportunity to interact, share ideas and information, and spark discussions about how to work together most effectively to create a sustainable space ecosystem, programs, and initiatives for national growth and development.\n\n\n\n
